Methodist Stone Oak Hospital

Methodist Stone Oak hospital is the newest Methodist facility in San Antonio, opened in 2009 in the North Central side of the city. It is a 140-bed facility, designed to grow to 450 beds. Methodist Stone Oak Hospital is dedicated to the highest standards in emergency care for its community and surrounding areas. The facility is designed to be the next generation in healthcare, incorporating state-of-the-art care and practices. All beds, including those in the emergency department, are private, processes are streamlined, and care is patient-focused. Methodist Stone Oak incorporates the most modern technology and technical innovations in medicine including minimally-invasive open heart, orthopedic and neurosurgery. The hospital also features a DaVinci Surgical System, which is the leading robotic surgical device. The facility plans to open the first hybrid cardiac catherization lab in San Antonio in 2012.
