Medical City Dallas Hospital is a 660-bed quaternary regional care referral center and includes Medical City Children’s Hospital. The medical staff consists of 1,150 physicians representing 95 adult and pediatric specialties. Other specialty services include the Transplant Center; the Dallas Craniofacial Center; the nationally-known Neuroscience Program; and the Cardiovascular Institute at Medical City Dallas. Patients have come from all over the United States and 75 foreign countries to receive cutting edge healthcare.

Emergency Medicine Services

  • 64,000 annual patient visits.
  • 50-bed Emergency Department that includes ten designated pediatric beds, a ten-bed clinical observation unit, and a five-bed fast track.
  • The Emergency Department was newly built in 1996.
  • A dedicated, nationally-recognized team of board-certified, residency-trained emergency physicians and pediatric emergency specialists. Extensive midlevel provider support.
  • The Emergency Department features adult and pediatric reception and treatment rooms.
  • A 16-slice CT scanner and ultrasound equipment are located in the department.
  • The dedicated ED based observation unit (CDU) serves over 4000 patients a year.

Ob-Gyn Hospitalist Services
Questcare Ob-Gyn Hospitalists began providing inpatient-medical services in June, 2008. Our physician team is comprised of Board-Certified Obstetrician/Gynecologists.

Questcare Ob-Gyn Hospitalists offer:

  • 24/7 in-house board-certified Ob-Gyn coverage.
  • Complete management of all unassigned and walk-in patients who present to the L&D and ED.
  • Immediate availability to handle emergent situations for all patients.
  • Availability to assist Ob-Gyn staff with acute management of private patients.
  • C/S and surgical assisting.
  • Consultation.
  • Reduction in liability exposure.
