Val Verde Regional Medical Center (VVRMC) is a is a Joint Commission-accredited 93-bed, level IV trauma center serving Del Rio, Texas, and the neighboring communities. The emergency department is a fully equipped, eight-bed, level IV trauma center. VVRMC has a sexual assault nurse examiner (SANE) available 24 hours a day to assist victims of sexual assault. Other services include a fast track clinic, available from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on weekdays, for less critical emergencies. a full-service imaging center; an intensive care unit; outpatient counseling for senior adults; surgery; respiratory care; inpatient dialysis; rehabilitation services, including physical, speech and occupational therapy; and a special procedures unit, including a cardiac catheterization lab and nursery.
